Dave Grohl was spotted for the first time since deciding to do without a divorce attorney.

The Foo Fighters frontman was outside in the streets of Los Angeles, California on November 2. As he was getting into a black vehicle, he wore a navy blue light puffer jacket, Nike basketball shorts with black New Balance sneakers. His shoulder-length black hair was down in its usual style and wore glasses. His ring finger was still noticeably bare. Both he and his wife, interior designer Jordyn Blum, have been seen without their wedding rings in the recent weeks.

A source announced to PEOPLE in an article published November 1, that Dave let go of a divorce attorney that he had hired before announcing the shocking news that he was a father of a baby girl with another woman outside of his marriage with his wife.

"He’s no longer working with a divorce attorney and instead hoping to work things out with his wife," the source told the outlet.

The source also claimed that he "loves his family," which also includes his three daughter that the couple share: Violet, 18, Harper, 15, and Ophelia, 10, The source elaborated: "Dave’s been prioritizing his family. He knows he messed up. It’s one of those situations where you don’t realize what you have until you’re about to lose it. He doesn’t want to lose his family."

As Dave seems to be trying to keep his marriage and family intact, it echoes the sentiment made in his initial September post where he announced his baby and cheating scandal on Instagram. The 55-year-old wrote: "I plan to be a loving and supporting parent to her. I love my wife and children, and I am doing everything I can to regain their trust and earn their forgiveness. We’re grateful for your consideration toward all the children involved, as we move forward together."

Since the news of infidelity, both Dave and Jordyn have not publicly disclosed where their relationship is at. Jordan first went ringless on September 17 during an outing with her tennis coach, Christopher Crabb, and Fall Out Boy’s Pete Wentz. She was spotted again when shopping in LA. Then in October 2, Dave was photographed without his wedding ring too while running errands in Encino, California.
